The Sox showed they were ready for Round 2 play with an excellent outing against the Yanks on Tuesday evening. D.J. McAllister and Steven Oberly had strong appearances on the mound. In addition to fine throwing, they both tested their pick-off moves and covered home plate effectively.
The Red Sox bats were once again screaming and the team produced this respectable run count in an abbreviated game. Oberly blasted an inside-the-park HR.
The Sox showed huge improvement in baserunning especially around third base. The game ball was awarded to Ryan Dang for his poise and hustle on the bases. The Sox will try and avenge their previous loss to the Angels on Saturday.
